What Happens After a Serious Head-On Crash Investigation?
After a head-on crash, early reviews focus on the direction of travel, lane positions, and road layout. These details help establish how the vehicles came into contact. Investigators also look at the condition of the roadway and any possible markings or visibility challenges at the time.
Vehicle damage is often assessed to understand the force of impact. This can help explain how the crash unfolded and the sequence of events. In many cases, both vehicles are examined for mechanical issues that may have contributed.
Witness accounts and nearby observations can also provide added clarity. Even small details, such as timing or movement before impact, may help piece together the events leading up to the collision.
