Los Angeles, CA (January 15, 2026) – A crash involving injuries was reported Wednesday afternoon on southbound I-405 just north of Mulholland Dr, involving a gray Tesla Cybertruck and a black sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred around 12:55 p.m., with the vehicles blocking the #1 lane. CHP updated the incident to reflect confirmed injuries and requested emergency medical assistance to the scene. Details regarding the number of injured parties and the extent of injuries have not yet been made public.

The incident led to traffic slowdowns along one of Los Angeles’ busiest freeway corridors, as emergency responders worked to clear the wreckage and treat those involved.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash and will release additional information as it becomes available.
