Lee County, GA (January 18, 2026) – A crash with injuries occurred on Saturday night at the intersection of US-19 and Cedric St in Lee County, leaving both vehicles off the roadway and prompting a multi-agency response.
The collision happened at approximately 9:45 p.m. on January 17. According to the Georgia State Patrol, two vehicles were involved, and each came to rest in separate ditches on opposite sides of the roadway. Emergency responders arrived on scene and provided care to those involved. One driver sustained a variety of injuries and was treated at the scene by medical personnel.
Authorities reported that one of the drivers left the scene following the crash. The incident caused disruptions along US-19 as crews worked to secure the area and assist those affected.
