Norfolk, VA (January 19, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon at the intersection of East Westmont Avenue and Tidewater Drive left at least one individual injured and temporarily pinned inside their vehicle, prompting a swift emergency response in Norfolk.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. and involved a white Tesla and a black vehicle. Responding units found one person trapped inside a vehicle with reported leg pain. Firefighters worked quickly to safely extricate the occupant while paramedics provided immediate medical assistance.
Crews established a command post and coordinated the scene to ensure the safety of all involved. Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as responders managed both vehicle recovery and patient care efforts.
