Las Vegas, NV (January 20, 2026) – Authorities responded to an injury-causing traffic accident Monday night in the western part of Las Vegas. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on January 19 at the intersection of W Sahara Ave and S Grand Canyon Dr.
Emergency responders from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and medical personnel arrived quickly on scene to assist those injured in the collision. Paramedics provided treatment to the victims on site, and at least one individual was transported to a local hospital for further care. The total number of people hurt and the extent of their injuries, have not yet been released.
The crash temporarily impacted traffic at the busy intersection, which serves both residential and commercial areas. Roadway obstructions were reported as first responders worked to clear the scene and investigate the incident.
