Silver Spring, MD (January 21, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early on Tuesday morning to a collision involving a Metro bus near the intersection of University Boulevard East and Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring, where at least one adult was reported injured.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:26 a.m. on January 20. According to dispatch audio, emergency responders were quickly sent to the scene to assist with a personal injury situation involving public transit.
