Sarasota, FL (January 23, 2026) – An early morning accident at a busy Sarasota intersection left multiple people injured and led to a significant emergency response on Friday.
The crash took place around 7:51 a.m. at the intersection of Fruitville Rd and N Beneva Rd, a well-known corridor for both local and through traffic. Units from Sarasota County Fire Department Station 5 were dispatched to the area following reports of a traffic collision with injuries.
