Sutter County, CA (January 23, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision involving a Ford Focus and a Lexus SUV resulted in reported injuries on Friday morning on northbound State Route 99 near Wilson Rd. The crash occurred shortly before 7:50 a.m. and prompted a rapid response from California Highway Patrol and local emergency crews.
Upon arrival, responders found both vehicles disabled on the roadway. One black sedan and a silver SUV were confirmed to be involved, and at least one person sustained injuries that required medical evaluation. Emergency services were dispatched under a “1141 Enrt” classification, indicating injuries at the scene.
Tow trucks from multiple companies were requested due to the extent of the damage. Both vehicles were removed from the roadway, and traffic flow was restored shortly after the incident.
