Davenport, IA (January 26, 2026) – Emergency responders were called to the scene of a possible vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment early on Friday morning near the 3600 block of Rockingham Road in Davenport.
The incident occurred around 12:09 a.m. on January 23. According to dispatch audio, rescue crews were dispatched to reports of a crash involving one vehicle, with indications that an occupant may have been trapped inside the wreckage. Fire and EMS units arrived quickly and began extrication efforts to remove the individual safely.
Once freed, the injured person was evaluated and treated at the scene by medics. The severity of their injuries has not been released, and it remains unclear if additional transport to a hospital was required.
Traffic in the immediate area was briefly impacted as responders secured the crash site and cleared the roadway. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, including whether speed, road conditions, or driver impairment may have played a role.
