Vincennes, IN (January 27, 2026) – Two individuals were seriously injured in a vehicle accident that occurred on January 25 in the parking lot behind the bus area at North High School in Vincennes. Emergency crews from Vincennes Community Fire Department, EMS, and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene following reports of a vehicle that struck a pole on the school property.
According to initial information, one of the vehicle’s occupants sustained a severe head injury and was experiencing seizures when first responders arrived. A second individual suffered a compound leg injury, prompting immediate medical attention from paramedics. The extent of both victims’ conditions has not yet been officially released.
The crash took place on school grounds, though it remains unclear whether any students were involved or present at the time. The vehicle’s impact with the pole caused notable damage and required scene management by law enforcement and fire crews.
