Griswold, CT (January 29, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision Thursday evening on northbound Interstate 395 in Griswold led to two individuals being transported for medical care and temporarily closed the highway near Exit 21, according to emergency dispatch updates.
Crews from the Griswold Fire Department, American Ambulance, and Connecticut State Police were first dispatched following multiple 911 reports indicating a crash involving up to five vehicles, one of which had reportedly overturned with a driver possibly trapped.
