Hayward, CA (January 30, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 580 near Eden Canyon Road left one person injured Thursday morning in Hayward, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 7:37 a.m. and involved a Toyota sedan and a work van traveling along the eastbound lanes of the freeway. The exact circumstances leading up to the incident have not yet been determined by investigators.
