Philadelphia, PA (January 30, 2026) – A pedestrian was hospitalized following a vehicle-involved accident near S 11th St late in the morning on January 29, according to emergency medical radio reports.
Medic 43 from Jefferson Emergency responded to the scene and transported a 40-year-old female who had been struck by a vehicle. According to first responders, the woman suffered a loss of consciousness and sustained a significant injury to her right hip, which included visible deformity. Her vital signs were reported as stable during transport.
The pedestrian was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for treatment, where additional evaluation was expected upon arrival. No further details about the vehicle involved or the cause of the incident have been released at this time.
