Sacramento, CA (January 30, 2026) – An apparent head-on collision involving multiple vehicles resulted in injuries Wednesday morning near the intersection of Sutterville Rd and Freeport Blvd, according to initial emergency dispatch reports.
The incident was reported around 10:31 a.m. on January 28. Fire and medical units were dispatched to the scene after reports indicated that several vehicles had collided and that a vehicle may have caught fire following the impact. The exact number of vehicles involved has not been confirmed, but responders identified the crash as a significant traffic incident requiring multiple units.
Paramedics evaluated several individuals on-site for injuries, and at least one person was believed to have sustained trauma. The extent of the injuries and the number of people transported to area hospitals have not yet been disclosed.
