San Diego, CA (January 30, 2026) – Two people were transported to Mercy Hospital following a traffic accident Wednesday night near Britannia Blvd in San Diego, according to emergency dispatch communications. The collision prompted a coordinated response from medical teams and the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:59 p.m. on January 28. Emergency units operating under 905 Incident Command confirmed that both injured individuals—one identified as a 40-year-old female—required advanced life support (ALS) transport. Additional medical personnel were requested to the scene to assist with patient care.
One victim was transported shortly after the crash, while the second was taken to Mercy Hospital minutes later. Their current conditions have not been publicly disclosed.
