San Diego, CA (January 31, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash late Friday morning resulted in injuries and left at least one person trapped inside a vehicle near Genoa St and Polroy Rd in San Diego. The collision occurred around 11:48 a.m. on January 30, according to dispatch audio from the California Highway Patrol Border Division.
The crash involved a YPFW SUV and a cream-colored GMC SUV. Emergency personnel responded quickly and were informed that an elderly individual was trapped inside one of the vehicles with a jammed door, requiring assistance to exit.
