How Bus Collisions Affect Passengers Even at Low Speeds
Bus crashes can lead to injuries even at low speeds. Passengers may be standing, moving, or not fully secured, increasing the risk of falls during sudden stops or impacts.
The size and weight of buses also mean that even minor collisions can cause strong jolts inside the vehicle. People may be thrown forward or sideways depending on where they are seated.
Crowded conditions can further increase the chance of injury. When many passengers are on board, movement inside the bus during a crash can cause multiple people to be hurt at once.
