Portland, OR (January 31, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 84 near 82nd Ave in Portland led to reported injuries and traffic delays on January 30. Emergency crews, including Engine 18 and Medic 1324, responded to the scene during the late afternoon.
The collision occurred in the westbound lanes just west of 82nd Ave and was classified as a Priority 2 Bravo injury incident. Although the extent of injuries was not confirmed through dispatch audio, medical personnel provided on-site evaluations for those involved.
The crash contributed to congestion during peak travel hours as responders worked to manage the scene and restore safe traffic flow. Vehicles were diverted or slowed while the damaged cars were assessed and cleared.
