St. Francois Co, MO (February 2, 2026) – An accident involving two vehicles resulted in injuries on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Kollmeyer Road and Feezor Road in St. Francois County. The incident was reported at approximately 2:33 p.m., drawing emergency crews to the rural crossroads.
Authorities stated that a 2006 Mazda Tribute and a 2018 Ford F-350 were involved in the collision. The impact caused extensive damage to the Mazda, which was later towed from the scene, while the Ford pickup sustained minor damage and was able to depart under its own power.
A 56-year-old woman traveling in the Mazda suffered a variety of injuries as a result of the accident. Medical personnel arrived to assess the situation and provided care before transporting her to Parkland South Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The other driver, a 57-year-old man, was evaluated at the scene and did not require hospital transport.
Traffic along Kollmeyer Road and Feezor Road experienced temporary disruptions as responders worked to clear debris and restore normal flow. The accident remains under investigation as officials continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
