How Crowd-Related Crashes Can Lead to Serious Injuries in Redlands
Crashes involving groups of people often result in multiple injuries due to the number of individuals in close proximity. When a vehicle enters a crowded area, there is little time for people to move out of the way, increasing the chance of harm.
Late-night settings near bars or restaurants can add to the risk. Streets may be busy with both foot traffic and vehicles, especially after closing hours. Reduced lighting and distractions can also affect how quickly people react.
Situations that begin as disputes can escalate quickly once they move outside. When vehicles are involved, the risk of injury rises sharply, especially in areas not designed for large pedestrian gatherings.
