How Vehicle Positioning Can Lead to Serious Collisions
Collisions often occur when one vehicle moves into the path of another, especially on two-lane highways. Drivers may misjudge traffic gaps, fail to see oncoming vehicles, or lose control when trying to pass or turn. Even small errors in timing or positioning can lead to high-speed impacts.
The type of vehicles involved can affect the severity of injuries. Trucks and SUVs are larger and heavier, so collisions between such vehicles often produce strong forces. Wearing seat belts is critical because they can help prevent life-threatening injuries in serious crashes. Visibility, road conditions, and driver alertness also play a key role in preventing accidents in these scenarios.
