What Happens When a Vehicle Crashes Into a Building
When a vehicle strikes a commercial building, both safety and structural concerns arise. Even at moderate speeds, the impact force can damage walls, windows, and support beams.
In restaurants or stores that are open at the time, occupants may be at risk from debris or sudden movement inside the space. Quick evacuation and medical evaluation are common steps after this type of crash.
Inspectors often check the building’s structural stability before allowing business to resume. Repairs may include reinforcing damaged walls, replacing glass, and assessing any hidden damage behind exterior surfaces.
