Intersection Crashes Involving Multiple Vehicles
Intersections such as Algonquin Road and Hanson Road can create risk due to turning movements. When injuries are reported in Algonquin, crews often work to stabilize traffic flow and protect those at the scene.
Multi-vehicle collisions can occur when traffic from different directions enters the intersection at the same time. Sudden braking, limited visibility, or misjudging another vehicle’s speed may lead to a chain reaction crash involving several cars.
Serious crashes may leave occupants trapped inside damaged vehicles. In these situations, responders often use specialized tools to safely remove people from the wreckage before medical crews can provide further treatment.
