What Happens When Vehicles Strike Structures
When a vehicle leaves the roadway and strikes a building, the damage can extend beyond the initial impact. Structural components like walls and foundations may be compromised.
These incidents can also create secondary hazards, such as gas or water leaks, which require immediate attention from emergency crews.
Investigators often examine speed, road conditions, and driver behavior to determine what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
