Bremerton, WA (March 31, 2026) – A teenager was killed and several others were injured following a crash involving an SUV late Saturday night on NE McWilliams Rd in east Bremerton.
The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. Reports indicate the SUV was traveling along NE McWilliams Rd when it veered off the roadway and struck trees and nearby fence lines.
Seven teens were inside the vehicle at the time, including four 17-year-olds, two 18-year-olds, and one 16-year-old. One of the 17-year-old passengers died as a result of the crash.
Four other occupants suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospitals for treatment. Additional details about the remaining occupants’ conditions have not been released.
Authorities believe speed and reckless driving may have contributed to the crash. Investigators are also awaiting toxicology results to determine whether substances may have been involved.
