How Two-Vehicle Crashes Can Disrupt Busy Road Corridors
Crashes involving two vehicles can still cause significant disruption, especially on major roads like Route 7. When collisions occur during daytime hours, traffic flow can be quickly affected.
Road closures or rerouting are often necessary when vehicles block travel lanes. This helps emergency units access the scene and allows crews to safely clear damaged vehicles.
Injury levels in these crashes can vary depending on impact force and seating position. Even when injuries are not immediately described as severe, medical evaluation is typically required to assess everyone involved.
