What Factors Can Lead to Rollover Crashes on Local Roads?
Rollover crashes can occur when a vehicle leaves the roadway and loses stability. Sudden steering movements, uneven surfaces, or contact with roadside features may cause a vehicle to overturn.
Sport utility vehicles have a higher center of gravity compared to smaller cars. This can make them more likely to roll over during sharp turns or when control is lost.
Road conditions, speed, and driver response all play a part in these incidents. Maintaining control and staying within lane boundaries can help reduce the chances of a rollover on local roads.
