Sweet Home, AR (August 6, 2026) – Injuries were reported on Wednesday afternoon, August 5, following a fiery collision on southbound Interstate 530 in Pulaski County. The vehicles came together near Dixon Road and Exit 3.
Traffic camera footage showed one burning vehicle in a ditch and another damaged vehicle in the median. All southbound lanes were blocked while emergency units assisted those involved and addressed the fire. Both shoulders on the northbound side were also closed.
By approximately 4:30 p.m., southbound traffic was backed up to Interstate 630. No estimated reopening time was provided. Investigators continue reviewing available evidence to determine how the accident happened.
