Albuquerque, NM (January 14, 2026) – A traffic collision with reported injuries occurred on Monday afternoon along the westbound lanes of I-40 near Carlisle Blvd, drawing a response from Albuquerque Fire Rescue crews.
The crash was reported around 4:10 p.m. on January 12. Engine 13 and Rescue 13 were dispatched to the scene, where at least one vehicle was involved in the incident. Responding personnel provided emergency care to individuals injured in the crash, though the exact number of those hurt has not been confirmed.
Traffic in the area experienced delays as crews worked to stabilize the scene and assess the condition of those involved. The westbound lanes near Carlisle remained partially obstructed during the response.
