How Do Farm Accidents Involving Vehicles Occur?
Areas with open land and farm operations often involve large vehicles moving in tight or shared spaces. Trucks, tractors, and other equipment may operate near homes or work areas, increasing the risk of accidents, especially when visibility is limited.
Young children can be harder to see around large vehicles. Blind spots and limited rear visibility can create dangerous situations when a vehicle is backing up. Even low speeds can lead to serious outcomes in these environments.
Clear communication, awareness of surroundings, and keeping children at a safe distance from active vehicles can help reduce risks. Farm settings often require extra caution due to the mix of equipment, open space, and daily activity.
