Aurora, CO (February 1, 2026) – Crews from Aurora Fire and Rescue and law enforcement units responded late Saturday night to an auto accident with injuries along Colfax Ave near the northbound side of Interstate 225.
The crash occurred around 10:20 p.m. on January 31 and was reported as taking place on the eastbound stretch of Colfax, adjacent to I-225’s northbound lanes. Emergency radio traffic from Douglas County Fire Dispatch indicated that ladder units were on scene assisting police with the incident.
Paramedics and fire personnel worked at the location to aid individuals suffering from injuries as a result of the collision.
