Aurora, CO (January 19, 2026) – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a vehicle crash near the Windsor Court Apartments on East 16th Ave, just off North Joliet St, on January 18 after reports of an unresponsive individual inside one of the vehicles.
Aurora Fire Department and police units, including Engine 5 and Engine 1, responded to the call. Upon arrival, responders found a person down in the vehicle and immediately began medical evaluation and support. The nature of the crash and how long the individual had been unresponsive were not disclosed.
The scene was secured while responders assessed the person’s condition and worked with law enforcement to determine the cause of the incident. The status of the individual involved has not been released, and it remains unclear if transport to a hospital was required.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and the individual’s medical condition at the time of the call.
