Aurora, CO (January 25, 2026) – A single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning resulted in injuries and temporary road closures near E St in Aurora. The incident occurred when a gray 2011 Chevy Silverado spun out in the number one lane, prompting a swift response from law enforcement and medical personnel.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after 6:50 a.m. on January 24 to find the pickup disabled and blocking lanes. Officers at the scene shut down the number one lane and began efforts to remove the vehicle from the roadway. A female occupant of the Silverado suffered an injury to her right arm and was evaluated by medical personnel on scene.
While additional details regarding the cause of the crash have not been confirmed, the vehicle was reported as registered out of Lochbuie. Emergency crews worked to safely assist the injured woman and clear the roadway to restore traffic flow.
Officials have indicated that a formal investigation is underway. No other vehicles were reported involved, and it remains unclear whether road conditions or driver error contributed to the spin-out.
