Oklahoma City, OK (September 7, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle early on Saturday morning, September 5, near South Shartel Avenue and SW 59th Street in Oklahoma City. The crash occurred after a car traveling at a high rate of speed hit the pedestrian.

The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or additional details about the incident.
