How Jet Ski Accidents Can Happen on Rivers
Watercraft collisions often occur when vehicles operate in proximity, travel at high speeds, or fail to maintain proper awareness of other boats. Limited visibility, river curves, and wakes from other vessels can also increase the risk.
Accidents on rivers can eject riders into the water, creating additional hazards such as drowning or impact injuries. Personal flotation devices, slow speeds in congested areas, and constant vigilance are critical safety measures. Rescue by bystanders or first responders is often essential in preventing further harm following a collision.
