Bedford County, VA (April 22, 2026) – A serious crash involving a passenger vehicle and a box truck occurred Tuesday afternoon, on Rte 122 near Shingle Block Rd in Bedford County.
Emergency units responded to the scene after reports of a collision between a northbound sedan and a southbound commercial box truck. Initial findings indicate the sedan crossed the center line and struck the truck, causing it to leave the roadway and overturn.
The driver of the sedan suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the box truck was treated at the scene for injuries and later released.
