Why are Rollover Crashes Often More Dangerous?
Rollover crashes are considered among the most severe types of vehicle accidents due to the forces involved. When a vehicle overturns, occupants can be exposed to multiple points of impact, increasing the likelihood of serious injuries such as head trauma.
These crashes can occur when a vehicle strikes a fixed object, such as a barrier, or when it loses stability at higher speeds. Factors such as road design, vehicle type, and sudden steering maneuvers can increase the risk of a rollover.
