What Is Commonly Known About Rollover Crashes With Entrapment
Rollover crashes often involve a vehicle tipping onto its side or roof after losing stability on the roadway. These incidents can occur due to sharp steering movements, road conditions, or loss of control while traveling.
When a vehicle comes to rest upside down, occupants may become trapped due to door deformation or pressure on the roof structure. In such situations, emergency crews often prioritize stabilizing the vehicle before attempting extraction.
Air medical response, such as Life Flight, is sometimes requested when injuries are believed to be serious or when rapid transport is needed. Road closures are also common to allow space for emergency operations and to ensure safe access for rescue teams.
