Bethlehem, PA (January 22, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash with reported entrapment and injuries near the Panera Bread on Bath Pike in Bethlehem late on Wednesday morning. The incident was first reported at approximately 10:44 a.m. on January 22.
Dispatch audio confirmed that the collision involved two vehicles, with one occupant complaining of chest pain. Airbag deployment was noted, and responders indicated the possibility of entrapment. Fire and rescue units, along with advanced life support from MS5, were directed to the scene to provide immediate assistance.
Upon arrival, medics assessed at least one injured individual at the scene. The person reportedly experienced chest pain following the crash and received care from EMS personnel. It remains unconfirmed whether that individual required hospital transport.
The crash occurred along a busy stretch of Bath Pike, resulting in a partial disruption of traffic while emergency crews worked to assist the injured and manage the scene. The extent of damage to the vehicles has not been disclosed, and no additional injuries were confirmed as of this report.
