Grayson Valley, AL (June 27, 2026) – A bicyclist was struck and killed at the intersection of Chalkville Road and Grayson Valley Parkway in Jefferson County.
Emergency units responded to the scene at approximately 12:39 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, following reports of a bicycle accident. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, a 31-year-old bicyclist, Brian Austin White, of Enterprise, was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle; he was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment, but later died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Officials said the driver remained at the scene and contacted authorities to report the collision. The police continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as they become available.
