White, SD (June 27, 2026) – Two people were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment after a two-vehicle crash west of White on Thursday afternoon, June 25.
First responders arrived at the intersection of Highway 30 and Interstate 29, near 478th Avenue, just before 2:00 p.m., after reports of the collision. According to preliminary information, a Jeep was entering Highway 30 from Interstate 29 when it collided with a Kia. The Jeep driver and a 13-year-old passenger in the Kia were taken to a hospital in Brookings for treatment. Officials have not released the extent of their injuries.
