Linn County, IA (July 19, 2026) – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by an SUV on the 6000 block of Beverly Road in Linn County on Saturday morning. The crash happened around 7:04 a.m. on July 18.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, Jamesha Butler, 33, of Hiawatha, was driving eastbound on Beverly Road when she failed to yield to a westbound bicyclist. The bicyclist was struck during the collision and later taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This is a developing story.
