What Are Common Causes of Intersection Crashes in Montana Cities?
Intersections are among the most frequent locations for crashes in Montana cities like Billings. Driver behavior at cross-streets — such as failing to yield, misjudging signal timing, or moving through an intersection too quickly — often contributes to these collisions. When two vehicles meet at an intersection without one giving way, the impact can be significant even at lower speeds.
Head injuries are a known risk in vehicle crashes, particularly when a person’s head makes contact with a window, dashboard, or steering wheel. Even injuries that appear minor at first can require a full medical evaluation, since symptoms of a head injury are not always immediately obvious. Prompt medical attention after any crash involving a head impact is widely considered the safest course of action.
