How Rollover Crashes Can Be Fatal Despite Seatbelt Use
Rollover crashes are particularly dangerous because the vehicle can flip multiple times or land in hazardous terrain, such as water or steep embankments. Even with seatbelts, occupants can suffer severe injuries if the vehicle strikes hard surfaces or is partially submerged.
High speeds, evasive maneuvers, and narrow roads increase the risk of a rollover. Prompt rescue and medical attention are essential for survivors, and these crashes highlight the importance of cautious driving on rural roads.
