Bowling Green, KY (January 14, 2026) – An injury accident occurred on Louisville Road on January 13, when a vehicle rear-ended a bus near 6792 Louisville Road. Emergency crews from BGPD, EMS, and BGFD responded to the scene after reports of the collision came in around 3:45 PM.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The bus, which was carrying several passengers at the time, was not significantly damaged, and fortunately, no injuries were reported among the bus passengers.
Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle failed to slow down in time, leading to the collision with the bus. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including potential factors that may have contributed to the accident.
The incident caused minor disruptions to traffic as crews worked to clear the scene. The Bowling Green Police Department is handling the investigation.
