Burbank, CA (January 16, 2026) – A woman was tragically killed in a rollover crash early on Wednesday morning in Burbank. Authorities have identified the victim as 37-year-old Gladys Villalobos, according to a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The fatal collision occurred at approximately 12:55 a.m. on January 14, near the intersection of Olive Ave and Pass Ave, just east of the Warner Bros. Studio lot. Police were called to the scene following reports of an overturned vehicle in the area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a white sedan that had flipped, with the driver, later identified as Villalobos, ejected from the vehicle. Emergency personnel from the Burbank Fire Department attempted life-saving measures, but Villalobos was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Medical Examiner officials determined that she died as a result of blunt force injuries sustained during the crash.
Investigators are currently reviewing the events leading up to the fatal incident and have indicated that unsafe speed may have played a role. No other vehicles were reported to be involved, and no additional injuries were confirmed.
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the full scope of contributing factors.
