Burson, CA (January 9, 2026) – A head-on collision involving two vehicles left at least one person injured Tuesday afternoon on Camanche Pkwy S near Pattison Way in Calaveras County.

The crash was reported around 12:14 p.m., with emergency medical services and fire crews responding promptly to the scene. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near the intersection with Quartz Dr and involved two vehicles that crashed head-on under currently unclear circumstances.

Paramedics evaluated those involved, and injuries were confirmed at the scene. The number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries have not yet been released.
