Perry Township, OH (July 4, 2026) – A Canton man was killed in a head-on crash involving two vehicles on Thursday afternoon, July 2, on Navarre Road in Perry Township.
First responders arrived at the scene around 3:51 p.m. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a gray 2016 Jeep Compass was traveling southwest when it crossed left of center and collided head-on with a silver 2019 Ford Transit van traveling northeast. The impact caused the Ford Transit van to overturn in the roadway.
Deputies confirmed the driver of the Jeep, a Canton man, died as a result of the crash. No additional information about the occupants of the van or whether they sustained injuries has been released.
