How Right-of-Way Violations Can Lead to Rural Road Crashes
Crashes on rural roads often happen when one vehicle enters a roadway without properly yielding. These areas may have fewer traffic controls, which can increase the risk of confusion at intersections or private road entries.
Drivers on highways typically expect uninterrupted travel, so sudden entry from another vehicle can leave little time to react. Speed differences between vehicles can also make these situations more dangerous, especially when visibility is limited by terrain or roadside features.
In many cases, determining how a crash occurred involves reviewing vehicle positions, impact points, and road layout. Even simple intersections can become high-risk areas when drivers misjudge distance or timing.
