Cathedral City, CA (May 6, 2026) – At least three people were injured in a crash early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Date Palm Drive and Ramon Road in Cathedral City. The collision occurred just before 4 a.m. and involved two vehicles.
Emergency units responded to the scene and found both vehicles with significant damage. Those injured were treated following the crash, though the full extent of their injuries has not been detailed.
Westbound lanes of Ramon Road remained closed after the initial response as crews worked to manage the scene and clear the roadway. Traffic in the area was impacted, with delays reported for drivers traveling toward nearby routes.
